About the Artist:

My name is Brenda Scott, and I am a multidisciplinary artist living near Essex, Iowa. In my country studio, I work primarily with acrylics, watercolors, and oils, creating ethereal, dreamlike pieces that reflect my love for soft, delicate colors. My artistic expression extends beyond painting—I also explore photography, sculpture, sewing, floral design, gardening, and writing. For me, art is not just a practice but a way of life. I strive to live artfully each day, weaving my many creative passions into a cohesive and meaningful whole.  My work can also be found at the 518 Art Gallery in Red Oak, Iowa.
