Artist in Residence Contract

This contact acts as an agreement between the

Creston Art Center “CAC” and the Artist-in-Residence “AIR” Amended August 2024

The AIR shall be intitled to:

A: Studio Space

-Studio located in the upper floor of the CAC. Space is lightly furnished with tables, sink and kitchenette.

B: Fully furnished living space for the duration of the residency.

C: 24-hour access to the center and materials within the CAC.

D: Opportunity to display artwork that has been create within the residency.

The AIR will be responsible for:

A. Keeping personal studio in good condition.

B. Keeping provided living space in good condition.

C. Patching surfaces in studio space once the residency has concluded.

D. Contributing one piece of artwork for the CAC permanent collection (if applicable).

E. Participation and assistance with opening receptions, workshops and other events that take place during the residency.

You will report directly to the Creston Arts Council and work in cooperation with other staff member.
