About the event
Creston Arts partners with Creston Chamber of Commerce and area youth to decorate the town for thousands of visitors who visit for Independence Day celebrations. This program not only creates a festive environment, but it connects young leaders with business sponsors who work together to develop miniature, temporary murals.
Creston Arts gives out over 250 packs of chalk to volunteers to create these amazing murals. Our downtown “Walk of Chalk” is a way to proudly represent all the great businesses that support our community.
To volunteer, join us on Thursday, July 3rd, from 9 AM to 4 PM. Meet at the Creston Arts Center, where we will give you chalk and instructions for muraling. Don't worry about your skill level, we encourage everyone to come join us - it's all about having fun! A pizza lunch will be provided.
