CHALK WITH US: BALLOON DAYS

Chalk with Us, previously known as Chalk the Town, is a Creston Arts program that partners with the Chamber of Commerce and area youth to decorate the town for thousands of visitors for Independence Day celebrations. Since last year, in 2024, Creston Arts has extended this program to the Balloon Days weekend.

Businesses and individuals are welcome to join Creston Arts and support this event by sponsoring a chalk mural. All murals will be along the Walk of Chalk, located on the north side of the 400 block of Adams St., near the Creston Arts Center. The sponsors of each mural will be identified and recognized on our social media. Those who wish to sponsor a chalk mural at the Walk of Chalk can do so by going to www.crestonarts.org/chalk-the-town.

This year, Creston students will draw the sponsored chalk murals. This event will take place at the Creston Arts Center, located at 411 W Adams St, from 9 am to 1 pm on Friday, September 19th.
