Clay Club with Blake

Create with clay at Creston Arts! We provide the clay, tools, glaze, and fire the pottery. You just need to bring your ideas of what to make. If you need ideas, we've got those, too. This is a two-part workshop. In the first class, we will teach the fundamentals of hand building and create something out of clay. *NOTE: The first session now starts at 5:00 PM! In the second class, we will teach the process of glazing ceramics and will glaze our pieces. Our clay creations require two firings in a kiln, a bisque and glaze firing. Once the pieces are fired, they will be available for pick up at the art center. Clay Club is for anyone who loves clay and wants to share a space with other creative people. This workshop is designed as a 101 class to provide the basics for anyone new to ceramics, but also provides the materials and creative space for any veteran ceramicists.  

Class is capped at 15 participants. Online registration is required. All ages. A parent or guardian must accompany youth under 12 years of age. $55 per person. Participants must attend both days: November 6th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM & November 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
