Mirzam Perez Depot Gallery Exhibit: Muddling Through

Finding Joy

Finding Joy brings together sculpture and mixed media exploring connection, memory, movement, and the simple pleasures found in everyday life. Mirzam Pérez uses fabric, found objects, vivid color, and layered materials to create tactile works inspired by landscape, memory, belonging, and the world around us.

Pérez’s playful sculptural forms invite viewers to slow down, look closely, and notice the unexpected beauty in the ordinary. Her work explores the ways color, texture, memory, and imagination can create moments of connection and delight.

Finding Joy is an invitation to pause, be curious, and discover the small moments that make us feel connected—to ourselves, to one another, and to the places we call home.
