Join us for a 3-hour class with professional ceramicist & SWCC Art Instructor Kelly Devitt. Create medium to large scale forms out of recycled pulp and found materials.

About the event
In this class, students will learn to masterfully create a 3-D work of art! Professional ceramicist and SWCC Art Instructor Kelly Devitt will guide students to create a medium to large scale internal forms out of recycled pulp and found materials such as cardboard, pool noodles, bubble wrap and so on. Following the construction of the form, students will mix a pulp/spackle slurry and carefully apply it to the surface of the form until they are satisfied. Once the forms have dried, paint may be applied to the surface as desired.

Class time: 3 hours
