About the event

Welcome to our weekly Walk and Draw event at Green Valley State Park! We invite you to join us for an hour of artistic exploration amidst the beauty of nature. Our event aims to promote creativity, mindfulness, and community engagement through the combination of walking and drawing.

Participants will embark on a leisurely walk through the scenic trails of Green Valley State Park, allowing them to connect with nature and find inspiration. While walking, attendees are encouraged to capture their surroundings through sketching in their sketchbooks.

Throughout the summer, we will invite guest artists and experts to join us. They will share insights into their creative process, discuss their work, and engage in drawing alongside participants, fostering a sense of collaboration and learning.

Our Walk and Draw series at Green Valley State Park offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the beauty of nature while nurturing one's creative spirit. We believe that by combining the simple joys of walking with the meditative practice of drawing, participants can experience a deeper connection to both themselves and the world around them.

We look forward to welcoming you to our weekly gatherings and sharing in the joy of artistic exploration.
