Creston Arts celebrates the arts while using creativity and curiosity as tools to generate empathy and create connections across all communities. We serve every Creston resident, working to generate a stronger, more engaged, and more compassionate community.

Mission Statement
50 years of CRESTON ARTS
Creston Arts, a 501(c)3 non-profit, has been serving Creston and surrounding communities since 1976. In 2011, a new group of volunteers took the reigns and established Union County's first art gallery and developed programs for individuals of all ages and abilities.

The Collective Mending Sessions is a series of socially engaged workshops facilitated by Ames artist Catherine Reinhart. This project cultivates care for cloth and community through collectively mending damaged quilts. No sewing skills required and all materials provided.

This show features the work of Creston Community High School painting students, inspired by the Art Nouveau period. Meet the artists and see their creations at the closing reception, Friday, April 24th, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Creston Depot.
