
February 25th, 2025. CRESTON, IA - Photographers Gary and Kathleen Hoard will exhibit their first show at the Creston Arts Depot Gallery this March.
Creston Arts is excited to bring Photographers Gary and Kathleen Hoard to exhibit at the Creston Arts Depot Gallery in March. This gallery, titled ‘At Home in Iowa’s Parks,’ will include work by Gary and Kathleen on birds, animals, and plants that call Iowa Parks their home, and Iowa park landscape and waterscape photography.
The exhibit will be open to the public throughout March at the Creston Arts Depot Gallery.
Opening Reception
The public is invited to an artist’s reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 7, at Creston Arts Depot Gallery, 116 West Adams Street. Light refreshments will be served.
About the Artists
Gary has been photographing for over 50 years, predominantly nature and rural landscapes. Kathleen has photographed for 20 years, mainly landscapes. Both have enhanced their skills through workshops and seminars, and studying the biology and environment of Iowa’s animals, plants and parks. Their award-winning photography has appeared in several exhibits at Ankeny Art Center, Octagon Art Center, Urbandale Library, Des Moines Public Library, Jester Park Nature Center, Neal Smith Wildlife Refuge, and Polk County Heritage Gallery.
