June 25, 2025. CRESTON, IA - Creston Arts welcomes the expressionist artwork of Abstract Artist Patrick Leer.
This exhibit will consist of bright, lively abstract paintings and mixed media on canvas and paper, painted intuitively in a contemporary expressionist style. Leer’s work is an infusion of energy and optimism. He chooses to combat negativity with vibrant colors and bold strokes on canvas and paper.
Opening Reception
The public is invited to an artist’s reception from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 4, at Creston Arts Depot Gallery, 116 W. Adams St. Light refreshments will be served. Visitors from the Independence Day festivities are encouraged to see the exhibit.
The exhibit will be open to the public for July. Gallery admission is free. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The gallery is closed on weekends.
