LEO BIRD’S ‘WORDS HE CANNOT SAY’ SHOW AND PERFORMANCE AT THE CRESTON ARTS DEPOT GALLERY FOR MARCH



February 23rd, 2024. CRESTON, IA - This March, Creston Arts welcomes mixed media artist, performer and comedian Leo Bird. 


Creston Arts invites the public to the opening reception for a performance of  Leo Bird’s graphic memoir, "The Words He Cannot Say.” This free event will be held at 6:00 p.m. on March 1st, at the Creston Arts Gallery.


Bird is an artist, activist, and motivational speaker who shares his experience with autism, and other topics; fitting in, bullying, careers/hobbies, and character. He uses his own drawings as visual aids for his performances. Bird has been writing stories since 2013, performing since 2018, and drawing since early 2019. Opening Reception

An opening reception will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. (Talk beginning at 7:00 p.m.) on March 1st, 2024, at the Creston Arts Depot Gallery, 116 W. Adams St. Light refreshments will be served. Following the reception, Bird’s work will be on display for the month of March. Creston Arts Gallery is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays.
