MISS ELAINIOUS TO BE EXHIBITED AT THE CRESTON ARTS DEPOT GALLERY

Creston Arts

January 21st, 2025. CRESTON, IA - Artist Miss Elainious will debut her first exhibit at the Creston Arts Depot Gallery this February with various unique recycled art pieces.


This exhibit showcases Miss Elainious’ artwork, made from found and repurposed materials. The materials include broken dolls, old ballet shoes, and other various items. Miss Elainious transforms these thrifted items into new creations with new meanings. This offers a new creative perspective after transforming and collaging these found pieces.


The exhibit will be open to the public throughout February at the Creston Arts Depot Gallery.


Opening Reception

The public is invited to an artist’s reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 7, at Creston Arts Depot Gallery, 116 West Adams Street. Light refreshments will be served.


About the Artist

Miss Elainious, also known as, Elaina Frederickson, transforms discarded items into one-of-a-kind artwork, giving new life to thrifted treasures. Each piece offers a fresh perspective on the overlooked, from Barbie dolls to used paintbrushes and worn ballet shoes.
