June 28th, 2024. CRESTON, IA - The work of pop-surrealism artist Mr. Burgher will be displayed at Creston Arts Depot Gallery for the month of July.
This exhibit will showcase colored pencil and ink surrealist pop art drawings, many on maps. Much of the artist’s work intertwines personal history with broader social and cultural themes. Many figures and icons from pop culture appear in his art. His work aims to provoke thought, elicit emotion, and invite conversation.

In 2018, Mr. Burgher stepped out of the classroom and into his studio. Read more about the artist at www.mrburgherart.com
