December 3rd, 2023. CRESTON, IA— Creston Arts shares its holiday-themed art workshops for the December calendar after a month-long hiatus.
Holiday Workshops
Workshops for this month include a Stitched Holiday Card class Saturday, December 9th, a Folded Fabric Ornament the evening of Thursday, December 14th, and Plush Doll Gingerbread Saturday, December 16th at the Creston Arts Center. Financial assistance is available. Registration is required for all of these events at www.crestonarts.com.
Monthly Poetry Workshop
Monthly Poetry Workshop will meet Thursday, December 7th from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Creston Arts Center. This month’s theme is ‘Nostalgia and the Power of Memory.’ The class is capped at 20 with registration required at www.crestonarts.com. No Experience is required. 18+.
Creston Arts Depot Gallery
The Creston Arts Depot Gallery is featuring the work of Creston Arts’ first-ever Artist in Residence Kate Sutton. Artworks will include pottery and drawings from her time at the residence. A closing reception will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 29th at the Creston Arts Depot Gallery. Light refreshments will be available.
